Belvoir Basildon manager of 9 years becomes new franchise owner

From helping to launch the office in 2006, to taking over the Franchise… congratulations Keeley!

Belvoir are delighted to announce that former business manager Keeley Taylor has become the new Franchise Owner of Belvoir’s branch in Basildon.

Keeley has worked at the office for nine years, but her love of lettings and her loyalty to the Belvoir brand meant that she decided to take over the business when the franchise became available.

“I’ve worked at the office in Basildon since 2006, initially when it was Let it Be and then as part of Belvoir when it was bought out by them in 2010,” explains Keeley. “So when I was given the opportunity to become the Franchisee it really felt like the right next step for me.

“The company was originally launched as a cold start nine years ago and, at that point, it was just the director and me. We had no properties and worked hard to create and increase a client-base. Since then I’ve watched the business grow enormously and I am delighted to have taken on my new role.

“It’s going really well so far,” she continues. “It’s been very busy and we’ve had a fabulous start to the New Year. There has been lots of activity, loads of lets, plenty of new properties and a great deal of positivity from landlords, tenants and the staff.

“As I’ve worked at the office for so long I already have good relationships with the existing landlords and tenants and it’s fantastic to be able to build on that further and steer the business in a new direction.

“Moving forward I’m looking forward to building on my relationships with current landlords, plus getting out there and pushing the business further by finding new ones too. I’m also going to re-fit the office this year and I’m very excited about growing Belvoir Basildon and its future.”

Keeley is just one of several new franchise owners for Belvoir, which recruits a wide range of people from a variety of backgrounds and with varying degrees of experience in the lettings industry.
