So far this year we have received around 520 enquires from prospective tenants! These enquiries mostly come from the 3 main websites we use (Belvoir, Zoopla & Rightmove) via email or telephone. However, we still have many enquiries from our advert in the Lincolnshire Echo and also from people just simply popping into our office.

As I am sure you are already aware, the economy seems to have started to pick itself up from the recession, however people are still struggling to get onto the property ladder for numerous reasons. Therefore, this has resulted in our influx of potential tenants who are registering their details with us for rental.

The only problem is ... we need more properties! The year so far has seen a large amount of our available properties let within the first week of becoming available! In some cases we have had multiple applicants wanting the same property!

If you are looking to purchase a buy to let property or would like to increase your property portfolio then now may be the time to do it!

So what are these prospective tenants looking for?

From looking at the data collected from people registering with us we have found that they are vastly looking for;

  • 2-3 bedroom family home with a garden
  • A property that would be willing to accept pets
  • Rental amount of around £500-£600 pcm
  • Close to amenities

Popular areas include;

  • Doddington Park
  • Bracebridge Heath
  • North Hykeham
  • Outer villages (Nettleham, Navenby and Cherry Willingham)

If you would like any more information or an informal chat regarding buy to let or increasing your property portfolio then please contact us at the office on 01522 544999.
