2017's Charity Challenge

Every year, the teams at our Central Office in Grantham go above and beyond to raise money for deserving charities. Last year they took part in the inaugural ‘Tour de Belvoir!’ and ran, cycled and rowed over 1,000 miles using gym equipment to make the journey from our most southerly office to the most northerly.

This year, the fitness continues and we’ve put together our best team for this year’s Tough Mudder challenge. The team is made up of Belvoir’s Marketing Director Kiara Simmance, Content Marketing Coordinator Sam Martin, Marketing Coordinator Charlotte Randall, Group Financial Controller Julie Wilson, Sales Administrator Lara Thornhill and Business Development Manager James Drury. The Tough Mudder Midlands, which takes place at Belvoir Castle is a 5 mile run with 13 mud-related obstacles on the route. From plunging into pools of mud, to climbing slippery slopes, Team Belvoir will be put through their paces!

Each of the team put forward a charity that they would like to raise money for, the charities were all put in a hat and Parkinsons UK was drawn as the charity that would be supported by the funds raised by the challenge.

We welcome all donations for this extremely deserving cause. You can donate via our JustGiving page that has been set up especially for the event – we’re looking to raise as much money as possible to help fund better care, research and quality of life for Parkinson’s sufferers. Please donate as much or as little as you can afford by clicking here. For more information on Parkinsons UK, please click here.
