Here is a brief summary of what happens if you would like to apply for a property
(please be aware some application processes may differ from what is outlined below this is dependant on each persons circumstances. All applications are subject to satisfactory referencing and contract).
- Application Fees
Firstly you will need to pay an application fee (please see fees page for a breakdown of costs). We will need you to pay this fee before we can start any of your referencing or consider you as an applicant. (Please be aware this fee may be non refundable, you will need to contact us for more details on this).
- Application Forms/Paperwork
All involved parties will need to fill out the correct application form/s. We insist that these are brought back to us within a week of applying for the property. All forms must be fully filled out in order for us to proceed with your application. We will also require x1 proof of photographic ID and x2 proofs of current address for all parties involved in the application (if you are from outside of the EU you will be required to provide a Visa). We will need these before we can process your application. A list of what we can accept for these proofs of identification is available at our office.
We usually carry out 3 references (dependent on each individual’s circumstances). These are; credit check, employer’s reference and landlord reference. We will contact you to confirm we have started the referencing process.
- Tenants Insurance
It is a requirement that all tenants provide proof of Tenants Liability Insurance; this is usually included in your Contents Insurance. (Please contact us for further information on this insurance or if you have any questions relating to this). This must be brought to us on or before the day you move in before we can allow you to sign the paperwork.
- Move In
Once we have received satisfactory references back we will contact you to arrange a move in date and time that is convenient for you. All move in appointments are carried out at our office.
