Letting in Christchurch

There is a good demand especially for 2- & 3-bedroom houses with gardens.

Correctly priced properties generally let within a week, tenants then move in 3 – 4 weeks later.

Still very strong, rents have risen between 10 & 20% in the past 2 years and continue to rise for 2- & 3-bedroom houses.

Everything that we do to set up the tenancy is included in our letting fee except for the inventory, we are happy to provide a full fee schedule.

There is no charge if the property does not let.

We pay you by BACS within 48 hours of receiving your rent from your tenant.

We can offer an insurance policy to cover this eventuality, in some cases this can be free for the first 12-months.

Yes but this is very rare as we will discuss all rent increases with your tenant prior to imposing.

This is a vital document, without this it will not be possible to dispute things such as cleaning and damage at the end of the tenancy which could leave you out of pocket.

This will depend on the level of damage, costs may be payable by the tenant, from deposit or, in some circumstances may rely on an insurance claim.

We visit all managed properties at least 3 times a year with the tenants’ consent, if you want to visit, the tenant will need to give consent.
