Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

Current Lockdown 2021 – As per government guidelines we remain OPEN as we have been since the start of the pandemic. We have changed some of our processes to ensure the safety of staff and clients and our offices are currently open by appointment only with a limited number of staff in the office with others working remotely from home. Our office is also cleaned regularly, there’s hand sanitiser available and a sign in sheet for us to track everyone who enters the office.

Rental Payments – currently there are no changes for rental payments and they will be due as normal for the foreseeable future. The government have set out extensive plans to support workers whose jobs have been affected by this situation, so we hope the financial impact of the virus will be minimal, however we are sensitive to the fact that individual circumstances in terms on employment vary greatly for instance those who are self-employed. Therefore if you have any concerns about paying your rent due to changes in your personal circumstances, please get in touch with our office to discuss. Alternatively, please follow the guidance from the Department of Work & Pensions as advised by SafeAgent. For landlords, we highly recommend our rent guarantee insurance. Viewings – in-person viewings are still permitted, we aim to do all in-person viewings when properties become vacant where possible. Until that time we have successfully implemented virtual/video viewings and have continued to Let properties successfully. If you are interested in a property please contact us to discuss your options.

Routine Visits – all routine visits are postponed until further notice to minimise social contact throughout this time, we will be in touch to discuss contactless interim reports.

Check Out Reports – we will be undertaking check-outs after keys have been returned and the property is empty.

Maintenance & Gas Safety Certificates – Please continue to report issues via FixFlo. Please bear with us during this busy time as we continue to liase with all parties to ensure maintenance can be completed in a timely and safe manner.

Sales Progression – this will continue as usual with our team being available to contact via phone and email.

New Listings/Valuations – House moves are still permitted. If you are looking to sell or rent your property please get in touch. We will be able to do an appraisal online or in-person whichever is your preference. Property photography will take place in houses with a maxiumum of 1 person at home to allow a member of staff in and whilst maintaining a safe distance at all times. Our staff will be wearing gloves and a facemask for the duration of the visit. We have adapted our approach and continue to be successful in lettings and selling properties during this time.

Please Note – During these unprecedented times we continue to amend our processes to follow the government guidance as it is updated. As such we have put in place measures which allow physical viewings of properties and property valuations under certain circumstances when allowed by the government guidance. This is being carefully balanced and monitored with the social distancing and safety measures we must put in place to protect the staff and the public. We apologise that we may ask more questions than normal but this is to protect all parties and we must ask you to follow certain advice and actions. Clearly all details of the virus and its transition are not yet known and we cannot be held liable for this, as such it is your decision if you wish to allow people into your home or choose to do viewings in person.  If you do not wish to do this please simply let it be known to staff. If you have any questions about our procedures please ask a staff member, we are here to help and work with you through this difficult time.
