There are many reasons that make S10 an amazing place to live within Sheffield. Two of the jewels within S10’s crown, Crookes and Broomhill, lie just west of Sheffield City Centre and are known as student areas for the Sheffield University and Hallamshire teaching hospital. It’s around a 20-minute walk to the city centre and a 10-minute drive.

Both areas are lively during university term time but quieter over the Summer months when the students depart. The nearest park in the area is the Botanical Gardens which takes you to Ecclesall Road. There are regular theatrical and musical events in the park and with a tea room/restaurant and several orangeries it’s well worth a visit.
