A few facts about the property market in Uxbridge

I was talking to an overseas landlord who was thinking about purchasing a property to let in the Uxbridge area. So I shared information about the area with her.

The key draw to investing in Uxbridge has to be the strong and diverse employment opportunities that bring people into the area. Those opportunities are there because of the areas powerful road, rail and air links. Near town in Uxbridge South Ward, many are employed as professionals, in technical areas or ser-vice rolls in customer service or sales. Less people here than the average for the area work as trade pro-fessionals. Unemployment around Uxbridge is low for the borough.

The average house price is £275,276. But cheaper property can be found in Verona Close, Cowley for around £116,589 or Clarkes Drive, off Royal Lane for an average of £134,156. At the other end of the scale the most expensive street I found is Old Mill Lane where property sells for an average of £874,322.
