Tenant Fees (Effective from 1st June 2019)
In addition to rent, tenants may be required to make the following payments:
Before Your Tenancy Begins (Payable to Belvoir Tamworth)
💰 Holding Deposit: Equivalent to 1 week’s rent
💰 Security Deposit: Equivalent to 5 weeks’ rent
During Your Tenancy (If Applicable)
📌 Utilities – Gas, electricity, water, and sewerage
📌 Communications – Telephone and broadband
📌 Cable/Satellite Installation – Subject to landlord approval
📌 Subscription Services – Cable/satellite supplier costs
📌 Television Licence – As required by law
📌 Council Tax – Payable to the local authority
Other Permitted Payments
In accordance with the Tenant Fees Act 2019, tenants may also be liable for:
🔹 Loss of keys or security devices – Reasonable costs may be charged for replacements
🔹 Changes to the tenancy agreement – If agreed by the landlord, charges will be within legal limits
🔹 Early termination of the tenancy – Subject to landlord approval and within permitted limits
