For the first time Hillingdon average property sold prices have risen over £400,000.  In March prices locally rose by 1.7% bringing the annual increase in our borough to 18.9%.

Across the UK property prices are now at £189,901, up 6.7% but down 0.5% on the month.  In London the average property costs £534,785 up 14% on last year.

Outside Hillingdon, top performing areas include Lewisham in South West London (up 19.9% on last year) and more locally to us outside London are Slough with property prices rising by 22.1%.

These figures are based on data from March, before the effects of the Stamp Duty Land Tax changes on the 1st of April 2016 so I am especially interested in the figures due for release at the end of next month when the changes will take effect in the figures are released.
