There are lots of things to do in Wolverhampton, whether it be a walk around the City Centre, a trip on the tram or ride on the steam tram from the Seven Valley Railway in Wolverhampton, so we thought being a local Estate Agent & Lettings Agents we would give you our top ten favourite things we like to do in and around the city.
Things To Do In Wolverhampton
Wolverhampton Race Course
Who needs Ascot come to Wolverhampton Ladies day or any day in fact at Wolverhampton Race Course, having its owners lounge, restaurant and if you are not from one of the local or surrounding towns such as Tettenhall, Penn, Pennfields, Ashmore Park, Wednesfield, Willenhall or Featherstone and you have travelled into the City do not worry as there is a hotel located onsite at the races.
The team at Belvoir Estate Agents & Belvoir Letting Agents have had many of good days at Wolverhampton Race Course, we can certainly give you a tip to go but I would not take any tips from us on your bets.
Bentley Bridge, Wednesfield
Weather you like Tenpin Bowling, the Cinema or just a Saturday Night eating out Bentley Bridge is a good place to go, it has many restaurants such as Nandos, Pizza Hut (This is actually the store the Sales Director of Belvoir Estate Agents & Letting Agents Wolverhampton had his first job while he was at School), Chiquitos, and Bella, Bentley Bridge is located a short journey from Wolverhampton and is always relatively busy particularly popular on Friday and Saturday Nights.
Monmore Green Dogs, Wolverhampton
If the horses are not for you and you prefer something a little more light hearted why not take a trip to the greyhound racing, you have two options here you can either go downstairs or eat in the restaurant upstairs. The team at Belvoir Estate Agents & Letting Agents were lucky to have a box here one year when they sponsored a dog.
Hollybush Garden Centre and Aquaria
The Hollybush is located in Shareshill Wolverhampton, it’s a large garden centre that houses gift shops, an old-fashioned sweet shop. Pet store and of course has a number of plants and gardening equipment, it’s a brilliant place to go for a few hours, they have their own café if you would like something to eat.
Once you have seen enough of the garden centre you can take a ride on the train around the landscape gardens.
Walking around
Walking our beloved dogs, around many beautiful parks it may be Essington Pools, Wednesfield Park, Tettenhall Green or Pendeford Reservoir checkout our list of local parks to see which one you like the look of, or why not just try them all, if you do not enjoy it we are sure your four legged friend will.
Essington Farm, Essington
Located just outside Essington Village and visited regularly by the Belvoir Estate Agents & Letting Agents is Essington Farm (Previously Essington Fruit Farm), where you want afternoon team, an award-winning butcher a trip on a tractor or a day picking strawberry’s Essington Farm has it all.
Wolverhampton Art Gallery
That’s right a short walk away from the offices of Belvoir Estate Agents & Belvoir Letting Agents City Centre Office is the art gallery located on Lichfield Street in Wolverhampton City Centre, if it is a more cultured afternoon you are after why not drop into the gallery to see what they have on display.
Wolverhampton Grand Theatre
Wolverhampton has two Cinemas, Cineworld Wednesfield or the Lighthouse Cinema in the City Centre, but if this is not for you and you would prefer to see something more live on stage why not and see what is on at the theatre located down the road from the Art Gallery on Lichfield Street, Wolverhampton.
Wolverhampton Civic Centre – Live Music or Events
If it is live music you like but what something with a little more ‘rock n roll’ you could take a look at the live bands on at the Civic Hall, or Robin 2 located in Bilston, these commonly have live bands and acts playing each week.
Cocktails and Fizz
If its cocktails you like why not try many of our new cocktail bars? If its France you like try The Parisian next door to Belvoir Estate Agents & Letting Agents, or The Bohemian (Locally known as Bo-Ho)? They do great cocktails they taste good and are presented excellently.
