3 bedroom Terraced House For Sale
Offers in excess of £550,000 | For Sale
So, let me tell you about this property… it’s a three-bedroom terraced house in Palmers Green that’s got a bit of a story, a lot of potential, and is chain free!
The Background
It’s been rented out for a number of years, so I won’t pretend it’s picture-perfect right now — it does need some TLC — but the bones are solid and you can really see what it could become with the right touch. In fact, there’s previously been planning permission for both a loft conversion and a single-storey rear extension (this has now lapsed but the previous plans are attached), which gives you a pretty good idea of what’s possible here.
At The Front
Out front, there’s a small paved garden. Plenty of neighbours have turned theirs into parking, so that’s something to think about.
Downstairs
You come in through a little porch, which is always handy, and into the front reception room — a good-sized space with high ceilings and a fireplace (currently boarded over, but still there waiting to be brought back to life).
The second reception at the back feels cosy, with patio doors opening straight onto the garden. There’s another boarded-up fireplace here, plus a useful built-in cupboard.
The kitchen, as it stands, is on the small side — units along one wall, breakfast bar opposite, and a door out to the garden. But this is where that extension comes in… you could completely transform this into a proper open-plan kitchen/ family room, the kind of space people actually live in.
Out Back
And the garden — it’s actually a really lovely size and fully enclosed, with a beautiful blossom tree right in the middle. With a bit of attention, this could be a genuinely special outdoor space.
Upstairs
Upstairs, you’ve got two generous double bedrooms (both with original fireplaces, again boarded up), and a single room. Worth noting: if you did go ahead with a loft conversion, you could do so without losing this room.
The bathroom is currently quite compact, with a shower, sink and toilet, plus there’s a separate WC next door. Personally, I’d knock these rooms together to create one decent-sized bathroom — it would make a big difference.
In A Nutshell
This modest home is good for families and has huge potential with some TLC . You have the opportunity to create something uniquely yours.
Tell Me About The Area
Location-wise, you’re close to Green Lanes — great for shops, cafés and everyday essentials — but just far enough away that you’re not right in the thick of the noise and traffic.
Palmers Green has a bit of a village feel to it, which people really like. It’s one of those places where you’ve got everything you need nearby, but it doesn’t feel hectic.
There's lots of green open spaces including Broomfield Park – this is the big local favourite. It’s got open green space, a lake, tennis courts, a café… great for walks or just getting some fresh air. And Grovelands Park – a bit bigger and slightly more “landscaped,” with a lovely lake and lots of space to wander.
Schools - There are quite a few well-regarded options nearby, which is one of the reasons families look in this area:
All in all, it’s a really convenient spot — good schools, plenty of green space, and a high street that actually feels useful day-to-day.
