Whether you prefer watching it or playing it, Yaxley is a great place to fuel a passion for both football and cricket. Yaxley FC welcomes male and female players from age 11 upwards. There’s a martial arts club for children aged between five and sixteen too. Yaxley also has an R.A.F.A. branch, which meets at the Lancaster Club on Main Street.

Anything else you should know?

St. Peter’s Church is one of the focal points of the community and a beautiful place to walk around – both inside and out. Oh and as a resident of Yaxley you cannot get away with failure to celebrate Yaxley Festival: an annual celebration of irreverence and community spirit that draws in revellers from all over Cambridgeshire. Expect a self-styled mashup of culture, community, heritage and sports.
