Government releases the ‘How to Rent’ Guide

The government today has launched its ‘How to Rent guide’. I have to admit that I am quite impressed by the fact the form actually tells a tenant to look after the property-it’s not just picking on what the LL must do. In other words it is a well balanced leaflet.

In a nut shell it is a checklist for both tenants and landlords and looks like it is a well thought through concept rather than a knee jerk reaction associated sometimes with pressure from the press.
