I know, I know it’s a bungalow but that doesn’t mean its chintz central or that there is a parking space for your walking frame outside. Personally I don’t see anything wrong with them.
Now this one http://www.tspc.co.uk/details.asp?id=114364 is being advertised by our friends at Blackadder’s and not only are all three bedrooms very spacious but it looks to have been thoroughly modernised internally and quite stylishly I might add. From the slope of the roof I’m not sure there is much scope for expansion in that direction. However at an asking price of just under £180,000 I think it should rent around the £650 plus mark which is a yield of about 4%, not in itself startling but I have tried to be conservative. That said detached properties in this area have gone up just under 6.5% this year. Additionally I noticed that the asking price is about £10,000 under the home report valuation so maybe there is a deal to be done.
