I was having a meeting the other day with one of my landlords who bought one just up the road from this example which is being offered by the Chamber Practice http://www.tspc.co.uk/details.asp?id=117678.
Its a block I know well indeed I manage one there, and again we have never had any issues renting in this location. Its being offered at £68,000 and it looks like a nice spacious one bed apartment in good condition and I know the block is generally well looked after to.
It’s an interesting layout as the rooms are all a good size and it even has a dining kitchen. I would estimate a comfortable monthly rental of around £400, which gives an impressive gross yield of over 7% without even factoring in any capital appreciation. Try and beat that with the banks, ISAs etc.
