Belvoir Bury would like to congratulate Mike Connolly who has today officially become Mayor of the Borough of Bury.
Mayor Connolly, a former head teacher, is Bury born and bred. He was previously leader of the council from 2011, and has now stepped down to fulfil his new post.
We have every confidence Mike will do an excellent job, and would like to extend our best wishes to him in his new role.
