Belvoir Lettings has hit a milestone with the recruitment of new franchisees, bringing the total number of offices in its network to over 150.
CEO Dorian Gonsalves said: “The network is expanding rapidly, and as well as the recent new cold starts we have also implemented an ambitious acquisition programme, which was made possible following Belvoir’s flotation on AIM in February 2012.
“As one of the UK’s biggest specialist residential lettings franchise agencies, we recognised the negative impact of market conditions on independent agents and reacted by putting together a dedicated acquisitions team to assist franchise owners in the buy-out of local agents.
“A total of 11 franchises have successfully completed acquisitions to date, with many more in the pipeline.
“Belvoir also now has five corporate offices in Grantham, Burton, Lichfield, Cumbria and Belgravia.
“We are looking with confidence towards reaching our target of 200 Belvoir franchises by 2016.”
The new offices are in Enfield, Middlesex; Ealing, West London; and Haywards Heath, Sussex.
