Capital Growth – an important part of any buy to let investment.

 When Investing in a buy to let property it is important to consider the capital growth of a particular area or property type as well as the yield or monthly % return. The ideal investment property will have a good yield per month but also provide a decent level of capital growth when the time comes to sell the property.

 I was looking at the capital growth for two areas in Melton and I was surprised to see the return over the last 5 years very similar.

 Victorian terrace properties on Stafford Avenue have produced 11 – 12% return over the last 5 years, 3 bed semi detached properties on Baldocks lane have also shown capital growth of 12 % over the same period.
