Rob, the Assistant Manager at Belvoir Long Eaton is taking part in Ironman Mallorca 70.3 on 07th May 2016 to raise money for The Newlife Foundation.
The event consists of a grueling 1.2 mile sea swim, 56 mile bike ride and a 13.1 run (half marathon) – 70.3 miles in total!
The Newlife Foundation is a great charity, they provide essential equipment in Nottinghamshire for children and young people with disabilities and terminal illness.
Rob has already raised £250 which is enough to fund a specialist car seat for a seriously disabled child to keep them safe. The target set is £400! if anyone wishes to help a great cause please visit Rob’s Justgiving page below:
