I was having coffee and a chat with a property investor recently about are there any deals to be had in the current market and my answer was, as usual, yes if you dig a little. Take this one; It’s a cracking example of a modernised tenement flat in Dundee. Its on with Blackadder’s and has GCH, DG looks to have been thoroughly modernised.
My only concern as with all flats is I can’t see the inside of the block or the rear area so always check them out. Clepington Road is generally a good letting area, I have one there myself.
The asking price seems very reasonable at £70,000 asking price of £129,950 which with a rent of say £440 is going to give you a very healthy rental return of just under 7% and hopefully some capital appreciation to boot.
