Focus On: Little Stanion

Last month we started a brand-new blog post series showcasing all the different areas Corby has to offer house hunters.

Why you should consider Little Stanion

The village of Little Stanion houses around 2,500 people in a range of one or two-bedroom apartments and three-bedroom houses.

Built on the edge of Rockingham Forest, the development has 37 acres of public open spaces and communal parkland and boasts a huge network of 3.5km of pathways.

It also offers an outdoor gym area and two children’s play parks.

Little Stanion is close to the A43 and a stone’s throw from the small village of Stanion, just over two miles from Corby town centre, which is home to a mainline train station.

Local amenities in the area

The sought after Little Stanion Primary School is at the heart of the village, which also offers a Tesco Express convenience store.

Next door to the shop is café and indoor softplay Full of Beans which is perfect for families.

The Little Stanion Welcome Centre hosts a variety of community events throughout the year including an Easter Egg Trail and summer barbecue, as well as numerous clubs such as pilates, Scouts and baby groups.

The Salvation Army also host their Sunday Service and coffee morning in the hall.
