About Lincoln

Located in the East Midlands, Lincolnshire is well known for its historical landmarks and beautiful rural Countryside.

Also known as “Bomber County”, Lincolnshire has great links with military history. The Dambusters famously took off from RAF Scampton to carry out their raid during WW2. The world famous aerobatic display team, The Red Arrows are also based at RAF Scampton. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight can also been seen at RAF Conningsby. In honour to all who served for our Country during the war, Lincoln City is now the proud home of the newly opened International Bomber Command Centre.

Lincoln City is a historic city with a vibrant, contemporary edge. With great shopping, a variety of restaurants and bars and a lively nightlife, it is a fantastic place to live.

The northern part of the city, more commonly known as “Uphill”, hosts Lincolns historical quarter, including well known sites such as Lincoln Cathedral, Lincoln Castle and the Bishops Palace. Uphill Lincoln includes the more traditional pubs and restaurants, embracing the historical, scenic surroundings, this area are perfect for a quiet drink and bite to eat. Uphill Lincoln attracts thousands of visitors from across the globe each year.

On the way towards the city centre is Steep Hill, famously voted Britain’s Great Street 2012, which connects the Uphill to the Downhill part of the city. Steep Hill is aptly named as it is remarkably steep, but well worth the walk!

The main city centre is located in the Downhill part of the city, with a number of popular shopping locations, such as the Waterside Centre and St Marks Shopping Centre. It is in the main city centre and the Brayford Waterfront that you will find a variety of bars, clubs and restaurants, perfect for a relaxing place to eat or drink for students, locals and visitors.

As well as its Historical features, Lincoln is one of the fastest growing Cities in the UK with an ever expanding University Campus, 5 RAF bases and many new housing developments under construction.

With all of this in mind, Lincoln is able to offer a wide range of opportunities, whether you are a property investor, tenant, student or just a visitor!
