At Belvoir Swansea, Sketty and Mumbles, community is at the heart of everything we do. Beyond helping people find their perfect homes, we’re passionate about supporting local causes and giving back to the city that gives us so much. Over the past few months, our team has been putting in some serious miles – and not just on the property ladder!
From charity runs to mountain climbs, here’s how our team has been making a real difference through three incredible challenges.
20 Miles from Burry Port to Belvoir Mumbles
As part of Ben’s 2025 Miles in 2025 challenge for Faith in Families Swansea, our owner Ben and teammate Matthew Bound laced up their trainers and hit the coastal path, running 20 miles from Burry Port to Belvoir Mumbles.
Passing through Pembrey, St Elli’s Bay and the scenic Mumbles seafront, the duo powered through every step, fuelled by pastries from Station 86 and plenty of community spirit.
This challenge contributes to Ben’s goal of raising vital funds for children in Swansea and beyond who are growing up in poverty, giving them the support, opportunities, and hope they deserve.
You can still donate here and follow Ben’s progress as he continues his mission to reach 2025 miles in 2025 – every mile counts!
100km in 7 Days for Faith in Families Swansea
Not content with just one challenge, Ben and a few brave teammates recently began their 100km in 7 days endurance challenge – another step (or several thousand steps!) in his 2025 miles in 2025 journey.
The team kicked off the challenge on 1st November and covered an incredible 53km in just three days, pushing through some very tired legs with the hope of completing the remaining 47km before the week is out.
Faith in Families Swansea is a fantastic local charity that provides essential support to children and families in need, and we’re proud to see our team leading the way in raising awareness and funds for their cause.
Let’s cheer them on as they continue to make a difference for those who need it most.
Conquering the Welsh Three Peaks for Swansea Community Farm
Not to be outdone, Arwel, our Senior Lister and Negotiator, took on the epic Welsh Three Peaks Challenge, climbing Snowdon, Cadair Idris, and Pen Y Fan, to raise money for Swansea Community Farm, a charity dedicated to promoting mental health and wellbeing through outdoor experiences and community involvement.
Despite a few “dodgy knees” and finishing just over his 24-hour target (in a still impressive 30 hours!), Arwel completed the challenge with determination and heart, showing exactly what community spirit looks like in action.
Supporting Swansea’s Community – On and Off the Job
At Belvoir Swansea, Sketty and Mumbles, we believe that being a local estate agent in Swansea means more than just selling homes, it’s about building stronger communities. Whether it’s running, climbing, or supporting local families, our team is always looking for ways to make a positive impact.
Together, we can make Swansea a better place for everyone.
