Update on Tenant Fees

From 1st June 2019 letting agents have been prevented from charging prospective tenants
any fees when applying for a property.

Belvoir Shrewsbury rightly embraced this at its inception and will not charge
any prospective tenants fees to move into a property.

However, when applying for a property,
there will be a holding deposit of one week’s rent, refundable at the start of the tenancy.

Should you be applying for a property and the agent, or landlord charges you any fee,

you should report them to either Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) or Trading Standards.

At Belvoir Shrewsbury we treat you professionally and fairly!
