This property http://www.tspc.co.uk/details.asp?id=117284 is being advertised by our colleagues at Blackadders at £110,000. It’s a good-sized tow bed flat. Now as luck would have it I know this block and indeed rent out a flat there.
Its location on the edge of the West End makes it convenient for the University, City Centre and Ninewells.
The block is well maintained and in my experience it always lets pretty easily.
Judging by the photographs I would say the property would benefit enormously from some basic “Vava Voom”, but nothing too drastic.
I would estimate the rental at around £450 plus per month so a return of around 6%, additionally, according to Zoopla flats in this post code have appreciated by about 19% in the last five years so all good.
