Why Use Belvoir Hendon?

Our core principles at Belvoir Hendon are very much focused on being professional, honest, local experts and offering the most exceptional customer service.

In an unregulated industry, Belvoir Hendon are a member of a number of industry bodies, which have strict codes of conduct. These are in place to ensure that our clients on both the sales and lettings side of the business have peace of mind. These include:

The National Approved Letting Scheme

NALS are an independent licensing scheme for lettings and management agents. In order to become NALS accredited, their members must agree to:

  • Meeting very defined levels of customer service
  • Being part of a client money protection scheme
  • Having a written customer complaints procedure, which in turn offers independent redress through an ombudsman scheme
  • Having current professional indemnity insurance
  • Having a ring-fenced client account

The above is designed to provide protection for both tenant and landlord. Belvoir Hendon complies with all of the above.

Client Money Protection

CMP is a membership scheme for property agents. It's used to protect the clients' money against theft or misappropriation by the agent whilst it's in their control. This would typically cover monies which are being held to pay for repairs/maintenance and rent. Once again, this membership will offer our clients' peace of mind.

The Property Ombudsman

TPOS offers an impartial and independent service for the resolution of unresolved disputes between consumers and agents.

The Deposit Protection Service

This scheme has been implemented to protect tenants' deposits. The DPS will safeguard and ring-fence the money through the duration of the tenancy. All deposits taken by Belvoir Hendon are repaid on receipt of a jointly authenticated repayment instruction.

SAFE Agent

This accreditation ensures that a letting agent is part of a Client Money Protection Scheme. It gives the client peace of mind that again their funds are protected.
