A word from the Owner
“Living in a Pembury has had so many positives The village has a lovely community with a football and cricket club and three lovely pubs. The Black Horse is renowned for its seafood and always has a wonderful atmosphere. There are many lovely local woodland walks and a great cycle path that takes you into Tunbridge wells.
The house has been a perfect place to live. It is large but has a wonderful, homely feel about it. The open fires in the winter are a dream, and the location of the property couldn’t be any better! The local shop next door has a post office and all the essentials you may need. The garden is a wonderful space with little noise from the road and I wouldn’t be moving but now my sons are flying the nest, I need a smaller property. I will be very sad to leave the house but know the new owners will have great pleasure in enjoying this beautiful Victorian property.”

It is a village community with many clubs, societies and organisations including lots of sporting activities. Conveniently, there is a newsagent, a local pharmacy, doctors, vets and dental surgery and you’ll never go hungry or thirsty in Pembury! There are three pubs which are all full of character including the historic Black Horse renowned for its Sunday carvery. The village primary school was ranked ‘Good’ in the latest OFSTED inspection (2019) and for secondary, many pupils will go on to the non-selective, mixed-gender Skinners Kent Academy which is on the Pembury Road in Tunbridge Wells. On the doorstep, you have easy access to either the town facilities of Tunbridge Wells, the beautiful Kent countryside and coast yet London is only 35 miles away.
