Belvoir Swansea Appointed on £100m Student Accommodation Development

Award-winning Swansea estate agency, Belvoir, has been instructed as partner agent on the 706 room, £100m luxury True Student development, located off Morfa Road, Swansea.

This instruction marks Belvoir’s first experience of the student lettings market, further strengthening its portfolio and successful growth across the region.

Set to open in September this year, the state-of-the-art student complex will welcome both Swansea University and the University of Wales St David’s (UWTSD) students.

The complex will house accommodation of all sizes, from studios to six bed apartments, and will boast a hi-tech gym, impressive communal spaces, a wellness centre, a festival zone, among other stand-out facilities.

Commenting on the instruction, Belvoir Managing Director, Ben Davies, said: “Diversifying into the student market is entirely knew for us, but this shift marks an exciting period of expansion. Since establishing the business in 2010, we have purely focussed on residential lettings and sales, with some commercial clients.

“However, with two excellent universities in Swansea, attracting students from across the globe, we wanted to play our part in giving them the best experience possible here. Accommodation is such a key part in student life, and we are proud to have been instructed on such a cutting-edge complex which we know students will love and will help set Swansea apart from other university cities.”

Ben Morley, Managing Director of True Student, said:

“We are delighted to be welcoming our first guests later this year into true Swansea which represents market leading accommodation combined with an unrivalled student living experience. Our team are very proud to be partnering with Belvoir, leveraging their award-winning expertise, capability and regional knowledge to provide the most loved homes for new & existing students within Swansea for many years to come”
