Abbey Hulton & Bucknall  

Abbey Hulton is a diverse town with a small high street containing a few discount stores, a veterinary practice and supermarkets. This the type of area where there is a real sense of community with everyone helping their neighbours out, local food banks and children playing freely in the streets of the estates. There are loads of little parks and wide open fields inside the estate and adjacent houses. Everybody is very sociable and welcoming into their community, making this a great place for families or investors buying rental houses to rent to families. Bucknall is close to Hanley city centre where there are also local amenities like an Asda, a Lloyds-Pharmacy, a SPAR Garage and a Farmfoods as well as a family pub. Most of the houses in Bucknall are semi-detached and they have good sized driveways and gardens. They also have Victorian Terraced houses with a lot of history attached. For investors, we would recommend buying a buy to let in the Bucknall area (ST2 postcode) rather than just focussing on the city centre ST1 postcode.
