Paul Wallace-Tarry MBE FARLA – Managing Director
My first career was with the Royal Engineers, specialising in construction and HR. After nearly 30 years, in 2003, I switched to become an estate agent and have enjoyed running my own business as much as I enjoyed the Army. I was impressed with what Belvoir had to offer but, more importantly for me, Belvoir replicated my ethics, so I took a leap of faith and have not looked back. It has been a very positive experience in which all my goals have been satisfied.
Richard Wallace-Tarry MARLA – Director
Richard began is property career whilst studying for his degree in History, before venturing to London in early 2007 to join Chestertons in Parsons Green, Fulham. In 2012 he was promoted to Associate Director and ran the Parsons Green Lettings division for four years, turning the office into one of the companys most successful teams. Having developed a wealth of experience and knowledge in the property industry he returned to Shrewsbury in the summer of 2016 to join the family business as one of the companys directors. He has grown the business year on year and his main focus is delivering on his clients goals and expectations, whilst adding value to their property investments and continuously striving to deliver an unrivalled customer experience.
Helen Morris – Sales Manager
Helen escaped the hustle and bustle of London at a young age to grown up breathing the clean air of Shropshire. Her interest in property came from being involved, on and off for a number of years, in her fathers property portfolio. Helen has lived and breathed the streets of Shrewsbury and surrounding villages for many years, accumulating a wealth of knowledge of the local areas. Over the past 7 years Helen has gained a wealth of sales and lettings experience benefiting her colleagues and of course her clients.
Kaylie Skelhon – Lettings Negotiator
After graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA HONS in Design and Art Direction, I moved back home to Shrewsbury. I started my career in the catering industry, after two years progressed up to an Assistant Manager at a Boutique Hotel. I wanted a career change and joined Belvoir in October 2013, after three years I left to become a property manager based in Telford I was solely managing 180 properties in the Bridgnorth area, I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in the general day to day managing of a property from accounts to arranging relevant safety checks. I missed working in Shrewsbury and in Autumn 2018 I was given the opportunity to come back to the Belvoir Team and have been here ever since!
Glen Evans – Property Management
I have been working in lettings for more than a decade, previously at Belvoir Shrewsbury between 2004-2007. I re-joined the team following nine years of managing an independent Letting Agency in Cheltenham. Having spent my childhood in the Far East, I have since travelled extensively and moved frequently with my family to various different locations, abroad and around the UK. I am well acquainted with the vagaries and stresses that come with constantly having to move house and also the joys in selecting a new home and making sure it feels just right. I am now very settled in the tranquil, familiar Shropshire countryside and I thoroughly enjoy working with the Shrewsbury Belvoir team, all of whom are experienced professional negotiators and managers dedicated to the franchise.
Nicky Nevett Dip RLM – Property Management
I began working with Belvoir in 2004; however, I was first introduced in 2000 when Belvoir let out my property for me (which they continue to do to this date, including subsequent properties). I find my job in Property Management enormously interesting and challenging! No two days are the same here, as the people and properties, we manage vary immensely. My job is certainly never boring! Marketa Trinder – Property Management
After gaining my Masters degree in Business & Economics, I started my career in HR. Since then Ive lived in the UK and the Czech Republic, where I come from, working for a big international company. We relocated to Shrewsbury at the beginning of 2019 and hopefully, we will stay here for a while! Ive worked in a real estate agency in the Czech Republic and therefore, when I was given this opportunity to join Belvoir, there was no hesitation from my side to renew my interest in the property market. Working in this business means that every day is different as you deal with various people; every property is unique and you just cannot get bored!
Amanda Palmer Dip RLM – Accounts Manager
I joined Belvoir in 2001 and have been a negotiator, property manager and since 2004 I have run the accounts department. Although my current role is specifically finace, I also help out in most of lettings and sales disciplines, especially in compliance and legal matters. It's a great team environment and really enjoy my job.
