Home is where love resides, memories are created, friends always belong, and laughter never ends. Through our years in this stunning Victorian house it has become so much more than bricks and mortar, it has truly been a welcoming home to our growing family and friends.

As a family we love to entertain and our door is always been open for visitors, Edenhurst has been the perfect home for this. The large kitchen is perfect for big noisy family meals. The large reception rooms are excellent for parties, whether it's a Christmas party with everyone gathered around the fire with a glass of wine or a children's birthday party with party games. The barbecue area is also magical in the summer and enjoying what feels like a secret garden. The generous bedrooms also mean there's always enough room for visitors to stay!

When we began discussion about moving due to a change in jobs and wanting to be closer to our parents as they got older, I have become quite emotional. We've created our beautiful family home, when faced with leaving it, I have a new-found appreciation and deeper love for it.

Edenhurst holds so many wonderful memories for our family. With our son's first steps in the hallway, the new job offer celebrated in the lounge and the family around at Christmas decorating the biggest tree we could find for the bay window. The warm feelings from our time in the house will last a lifetime
Reaching home after work fills me with joy and serenity. It would be hard to choose the room I love the most but if I had to I would say the lounge is my favourite. It's a haven where I can do what I love, from resting and soaking in the wonderful soothing atmosphere, watching the light change through the large windows and admire the beautiful bulbs we planted when we first moved in.
Edenhurst has such an interesting history. It was built in 1890 and it has been an honour to almost be care takers for this stunning period property which has been a happy home to many families. It is well known locally, as soon as you mention you live in Moorgate people of remark about the striking house with a room on stilts.

Together, my husband, son and I transformed this beautiful big sandstone Victorian house into our favourite place on earth. Perhaps that's what home is, a place to enjoy all the little joys of life which make us feel happy and content.
