Belvoir first opened its doors in 1995.  Since then it has strived to set the bench-mark for lettings countrywide.  It has earned an enviable reputation for customer service, winning many industry awards.
 

Belvoir Winchester is run by Directors, Brian Neville, Mike Jones and Andrew Lowery.  They are all very much 'hands-on' and, therefore, heavily involved in ensuring that you are provided with the very highest standards of customer service.  They have a vested interest in the success of the business and you may rest assured that there is much attention paid to detail and that customer service is of paramount importance.

With experience of being landlords themselves they each understand the difference between good and bad tenants.  If they wouldn't want someone as a tenant in one of their own properties, then they recognise that their landlords will likely have the same reservations.  Instead of finding a reason to accept a tenant, they encourage staff to continually look for a reason to decline an application.  Going the extra yard at the very start of the process lays the right foundations and a similar thought process is employed in every element of a tenancy.  Whether you consider the choice a contractor, the speed of rent payment or the quality and frequency of periodic visits, it is the likely landlord reaction which is the determining factor in every decision made.

Protection


Belvoir Winchester takes the treatment of landlords funds very seriously.

SAFE 

Safe Agent Fully Endorsed - is a mark denoting firms that protect money belonging to landlords and tenants through client money protection schemes.  

Landlords often make decisions according to cost but it is important that landlords consider the safety of their money.  Regulated firms maintain and operate separate designated client accounts where landlord monies are held completely separate from the operating funds of the firm.

If an agent cannot provide you with the assurance of knowing they are covered by a client’s money protection scheme, the question you should really ask is; why not?

NALS

The National Approved Lettings Scheme is an accreditation scheme for lettings and management agents.  If offers peace of mind to landlords and tenants in knowing that they are dealing with a firm which agrees to meet defined standards of service.  It has in place the necessary insurances to protect clients' money plus a customer complaints procedure offering independent redress.  

DPS

Tenancy deposit protection (TDP) schemes guarantee that tenants will get their deposits back at the end of a tenancy, if they meet the terms of the tenancy agreement and do not damage the property.  Landlords must protect their tenants' deposits using a TDP scheme if they have let the property on an assured shorthold tenancy (AST) which started on or after 6th April 2007.
