Coronavirus Advice

Our office is currently closed with some of the team working remotely from home.  We are still contactable via e-mail on warrington@belvoir.co.uk and as a business very open in Virtual sense.

Advice on rental payments

 

There is no change.   Your rent is lawfully due and if you get into any rent arrears you will be fully liable for these. 

The government is offering help to employees with statutory sick pay improvements, the Coronavirus employee retention scheme, increased access to benefits, to allow people to pay their rent and not run up debts during this difficult time, which they then have to repay.  Please ensure you gain access to these at the earliest opportunity, the following link will help you with Universal credit: https://www.gov.uk/apply-universal-credit.  

If you require help and assistance and have serious concerns regarding paying your rent please e-mail Janette on warrington@belvoir.co.uk.  We are here to get you through these difficult times and can offer advice and give you other links to help you apply for the help you need especially for those who are self-employed.

 

Viewings

We are not carrying out any personal viewings.  We do appreciate that there will be tenants that need to move.  We will accommodate key workers and essential moves only via our virtual tours, floor plans and photo’s. 
Maintenance & Gas Safety Certificates 
Please continue to report issues via FixFlo.  Only essential maintenance will be being carried out at this time. Some contractors will be unable to work, others may take longer to accommodate you so please be patient during this time.
Gas safe have advised that gas safety certificates still need to be completed.

 

Sales Progression

Sales progression will continue although this will be a little slower than normal.

 

New Listings/Valuations 

We are still here to give you all the help and advice you need.  If you are looking to sell or rent your property please get in touch. We are able to do appraisals online or live videos which can be arranged with one of our team. We will then be in a position to market the property once the non-essential travel ban has been lifted.
If we can help any of our tenants or landlords during this difficult time even if it’s just to chat because you are self-isolating and you are feeling lonely, or you need a prescription picking up and you cannot go out please get in touch we will do our best to help.
We thank you for your understanding and we as a team are really looking forward to returning to the office. 
As advised by the government, small changes by each of us including self-hygiene and social distancing will make a big difference, relieving NHS pressure and saving lives. We have a duty of care to each other and in particular to more vulnerable members of our society.
