The only price shown in our property adverts is the calendar monthly rental cost of the property. Tenancy application charges and possibly other fees will apply but can vary due to a customer's individual circumstances and are therefore excluded from the price shown.
Administration fees when applying for a property:
Tenancy administration fee £270 including vat - pay when you apply
Check in administration fee £48 including vat - pay at check in
Possible other fees (if required to support an application & by prior notification)
Each further adult in tenancy £30 including vat - pay when you apply
Guarantor if required £75 including vat - pay when you apply
Administration fee for late payment of rent £25 per letter sent
Administration fee for return of erroneous rent £25
Administration fee for returned cheque £25
Company let - £360 including vat - notify Belvoir prior to application
All tenancies require a damage deposit and this is standard practice throughout England. This is taken, together with the first months rent, just before or on the first day of the tenancy. Damage deposits are registerd with the governments Deposit Protection Scheme (they are not held by Belvoir). Typical levels of damage deposit: a £500 pcm rental property - £600 damage deposit. A £750 pcm rental property - £850 damage deposit, and so forth.
Pet deposit - If a Landlord is prepared to accept a pet in their property, a pet deposit on £200 will be taken in addition to the usual damage deposit. This is used to cover the added risk of damage to the property and is protected with your main deposit in the DPS.
