Tenant charges Inc VAT


Prior to commencement of Tenancy:
Holding deposit  = 1 weeks rent

Security Deposit = 5 weeks rent
 
During the Tenancy - payable to the Agent

Rent Arrears

From day 15 we can charge 3% above the Bank of England base rate of the rent arrears on a daily basis    

During the tenancy if permitted and applicable
Utilities – gas, electricity, water and sewerage 
Communications – telephone and broadband
Installation of cable/satellite
Subscription to cable/satellite supplier
Television licence
Council Tax

Other permitted payments

Any other permitted payments, not included above, for breaches of contract or under the relevant legislation including contractual damages. These may include reasonable costs or losses incurred for loss of keys, security devices and changes to the tenancy agreement or early termination, if the Landlord agrees they can be made, up to the permitted limits

Tenant Protection

Tenant Fees for pre 1st June 2019 Tenancies


Explanation of our tenant fees permitted under the Tenant Fees Act 2019 transitional provisions, where fees are written into existing tenancy agreements. These apply to all tenancy agreements granted or signed and executed before 31st May 2019, and can be charged up until 31st May 2020
 


Tariff of Charges For Tenants

Please Note for all charges are subject to the following conditions:-

  • All cash payments are subject to a minimum administration charge of £12 inc VAT to cover handling and insurance.
  • Cash must be received as exact amount as we cannot give change.
  • We do not accept cheques as cleared funds for any charges.
  • We cannot accept Card Payments.

Initial Charges:

£250 inc VAT - Individual Application Fee per Lead tenants over 18 years old.

£130 inc VAT - Additional applicant over 18 years old.

£300 inc VAT - Company Application Fee.

£130 inc VAT - Student application /Guarantor Application Fee (if required).

£24 inc VAT - Deposit Registration Fee.

This is a non-refundable fee to cover our administration costs.
