In July 2013 Belvoir Basingstoke bought the Redwoods lettings business in Basingstoke. The estate agent business was originally bought by the Belvoir franchisor and so, whilst Belvoir Basingstoke enjoyed close ties with estate agents, they could still truthfully claim to remain the “Lettings Specialist”. In December 2016, however, Mike and Andrew also bought the sales business.
Both elements of the business are now owned and managed by individuals with a real vested interest in the success of the business. You may rest assured that the same attention to detail and the same degree of customer service which lettings customers have enjoyed since 2009 are also now employed on the sales side.
As a result of the Redwoods acquisition, Belvoir may now boast the experience of staff inherited from a business first established over twenty years ago.
The Directors of Belvoir have experience of being landlords themselves and they each understand the difference between good and bad tenants. If they wouldn't want someone as a tenant in one of their own properties, then they recognise that their landlords will likely have the same reservations.

Tenancy deposit protection (TDP) schemes guarantee that tenants will get their deposits back at the end of a tenancy, if they meet the terms of the tenancy agreement and do not damage the property. Landlords must protect their tenants' deposits using a TDP scheme if they have let the property on an assured shorthold tenancy (AST) which started on or after 6th April 2007.
