Mission Christmas with Key 103

For many, Christmas is a most magical time of year – a time when children dream of a visit from Santa, where family gather together to celebrate in Christmas festivities.

Spare a thought for those less fortunate, for it’s not a happy time for all, but YOU can make a difference.

This year, Belvoir Sales and Lettings Oldham will once again be a collection point for Key 103’s Mission Christmas, a campaign that aims to collect gifts for less fortunate children from birth to 18 years across the region.

It is a fact that one in three children are living in poverty and are simply not as fortunate as many. The Mission Christmas appeal will aim to deliver gifts donated by yourselves to those children to ensure that they have a happier time. Just a small gift can make all the difference to a child’s Christmas and allow them to feel just as special as any other. Yes, sometimes one gift can make all that difference.

How can you help?

As part of this year’s campaign, Belvoir are asking local people to donate whatever they can to light up a child’s life this festive season.

Gifts, no matter how large or small, should be new and unwrapped and dropped in to the branch on High Street Lees. All gifts will be collected and wrapped then delivered to children less fortunate in time for Christmas Day.

Last year the generosity of people across the region ensured that over 51,500 children received a gift in 2015 and we’re sure that figure can be beaten in 2016.

To donate, take your new and unwrapped gifts to the following location where they will be passed on to those who need them most this Christmas.

Thank you.
