Our Timeline: Reflecting On How Far We Have Come

So the New Year is already well underway and Christmas is just a distant memory, and whilst it is important to us to set out our goals for the coming year, it’s also important to review how far we’ve come and the things we have achieved since our company started in 2014.

We invite you to take a tour with us down memory lane as we remind ourselves of all the things we have accomplished in such a short space of time.

Two Office Refurbishments

We feel that the standards of our office and the standards of the properties we offer go hand in hand and it’s important to us that our teams have the right environment in order to service the needs of our clients. So it should come of no surprise that the condition of our office also reflects the standard of our property management.

One Office move

Before we moved to Market St, we were based on Castle Boulevard, we decided to move because that office no longer had the visibility that is required to succeed in the current market and also lacked the convenience of access for our clients.  

Rent Guarantee for Managed Landlords

We introduced our Rent Guarantee for Managed Landlords because we recognised that with the increased levels of referencing that we were now undertaking, the greatest risk to landlords was the risk of tenant redundancy.

We wanted to offer those landlords that depend on rents received the opportunity to guarantee that this would happen, regardless of their tenants ability to pay.

The Rent Guarantee means our Landlords will never be without the rental income that they are entitled to. We feel it is important for our Landlords to be stress free, and the Rent Guarantee is our way of not only providing that service to those who depend on it the most, but also to display to our customers that we are a dependable company that truly cares about their clients. SDL Auction Partners

Becoming an SDL Auction Partner means that we are able to now offer 0% sales fees to any landlord who wishes to sell their property, whether vacant or tenanted.

This has opened up the opportunities for the new eBay style of auction, whereby a reserve price can be self-set by the owner and bids are openly visible to interested purchases to ensure that the very best sale price is reached for the vendor.

Two new additions to the team

With expansion, comes new staff! We have welcomed Clare and Kiera to the team since our beginnings. 

One Car Racing Team

In early 2017, we officially sponsored a race team in the MG & Lackford engineering challenge. Racing at the most well-known circuits around the UK we took great pride in seeing our Belvoir branded car taking the championship honours as well as being part of the fun that occurred on and off track!

Two Prestigious Awards

The end of 2017 was a great time for us in terms of being recognised for our services. We were first awarded ‘Best Agent independently rated as Exceptional’  operating in the top 5% of all letting agents in the UK.

For our little office in Nottingham this was a massive achievement especially when going head to head with some huge names in the business.

In addition to this we were later voted as the Best Lettings Agent in Nottinghamshire by the Build Facilities Management Awards. These are prestigious awards that we are extremely grateful to have won and we hope to gather many more of the next few years.

 … And our next goal? 

To be the best agent in nottingham for property advertising. We see this as the very first point of contact we have with the majority of our client base so what better place to create a first impression?
