Maintenance & Repairs in Newbury

All maintenance should be reported through our portal.  This will give you guidance on what is your responsibility and what is your landlord’s responsibility, as well as giving top tips to resolve common problems.  Reporting through the portal will almost always result in a quicker resolution than reporting by telephone or email.

Out of hours

If you have an emergency that you cannot resolve using the Fixflo guidance – or by simply turning off the water/electricity/gas at the mains – then please call an appropriately qualified and insured tradesperson to attend.

Please note that if you call a contractor other than in the event of an emergency or with the Landlord’s permission, you will be responsible for the cost of their visit. Please note too that unreasonable charges will not be the Landlord’s responsibility.

GAS – If you suspect a gas leak or gas emergency, please call the national grid on 0800 111 999.

ELECTRICITY – For emergencies and power cuts, call SSEN on 0800 272 7282.

WATER – first check with Thames Water.
