Rentals… the ‘key’ to the current property market.

With 14 properties let last week and a further 5 this week so far, it goes without saying that the lettings industry is as busy as ever with demand growing stronger with every passing day.

 

An Article from Landlord today stated that the rental sector is “keeping the whole industry afloat” as the lettings market is bouncing back stronger than ever from the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic with an increase in 111% for rentals from June 2019. This is great news for all agents and here at Belvoir Leamington Spa we are taking full advantage of these increased figures, of course from a safe distance!

We are currently fully booked with physical property viewings and enquiries busier than ever now that we are able to safely show tenants vacant properties. Our virtual viewings have been a hit over the lockdown period with an increase in our YouTube videos by 19.9% which is the equivalent to an additional 2502 views over the past 28 days.

If you would like to book a viewing for one of our properties please ensure you following for your own safety:

 

  • Please note: It is maximum of 2 adults only per viewing plus the agent
  • No children are allowed – these are Government stipulations and is for their safety.
  • Please advise us prior to the viewing/meeting if you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms/cough/difficulty breathing/temperature. If so please contact us and do not attend the meeting/viewing. Thank you. If the Agent feels you are displaying any of these signs upon meeting, he/she will not proceed with the viewing for health & safety reasons.
  • Please leave any children or extra adults in the car – if needed the agent will watch the car whilst you view the property but its advisable not to bring children if at all possible as they are not allowed inside the property.
  • Please bring/wear appropriate PPE – Gloves/masks
  • Please do not touch anything in the property
  • The maximum timeframe for being inside the property is 15-20 minutes
  • Please ask any questions outside the property if possible as its more advisable for social distancing measures.
  • Please be advised that your agent will arrive fit and healthy and wearing all appropriate PPE. He/she will wipe down any door handles/knobs after each viewing once leaving the property.
  • We will need to keep/be provided with your contact details (phone/email address) so if there are any outbreaks, we can provide tracing. These will be destroyed post lockdown according to GDPR laws.
  • We are sorry but we cannot provide any lifts in vehicles during this partial lock-down period
  • We apologise for all these ‘demands’ but they have been issued to us via the Government who work in line with Public Health England, thank you for your kind understanding.

We are now open on an appointment only basis to be able to move tenants in to their new properties and for contractors to collect/return keys where necessary. Before visiting our office please ensure that you are not showing any signs of Covid-19 and have not been in contact with anyone who has symptoms. The safety for all tenants, landlords, visitors and staff is imperative.
