Be part of a Client Money Protection (CMP) Scheme;
Have a written customer complaints procedure offering independent redress through an ombudsman;
Have current Professional Indemnity insurance;
Have a designated client bank account

CMP insurance is designed to protect the money of landlords or tenants whilst it is under the control of the letting agent. Belvoir Kings Lynn has this insurance and complies fully with all regulations relating to client accounts.

Free, impartial and independent service for the resolution of unresolved disputes between consumers and property agents. Whilst every effort will be made to resolve any potential dispute, Belvoir Kings Lynn are a member of this scheme and customers can therefore refer unresolved issues if necessary.
Deposit Protection Service (DPS) www.depositprotection.com
Tenant deposits must now be registered with a deposit protection scheme.
Belvoir Kings Lynn is a member of the Deposit Protection Service's Custodial Scheme, the largest, most experienced supplier of deposit protection in the UK.
The Custodial Scheme holds the tenant's deposit throughout the tenancy and then repays the funds as appropriate once authenticated repayment instructions are received from both parties. An independent adjudication system is also offered in the event of any deposit dispute.
