What is the average void period?

A recent report shows that the average void in renting out a property is 2.6 weeks. Furthermore, the average void period, per year, over the past 13 years is 3.5 weeks – (source: Paragon Mortgages).

The low average void periods we have seen over the past year, and in previous years, reflects the strong and growing demand we have seen for private rented property.
