This coming Sunday the 25th of October is proving to be a day full of fright, fangs and fun! Dacorum borough council are hosting its annual Halloween party in the old town and it’s going to be a big one with the entire Old Town high street being transformed into the spookiest street in town with a ghost train, fairground rides and many more.

From 3:30pm onwards the old town will be all treats and no tricks with activities and stalls for all of the family to enjoy. Street entertainers, balloon modellers, glow performers and many more will be scaring at this fang-tastic event as well as the amazing Ace Face Creations, sponsored by Belvoir Hemel Hempstead, who will be able to create weird and wonderful face paint designs to have everyone shaking in their boots.

Belvoir Hemel Hempstead will also be hosting an amazing competition with the chance to win some ghoulish Halloween themed prizes. Entry to this marvellous competition will only cost you £1 with all of the money raised going towards Woodfield School. Woodfield School is a school dedicated to caring and educating for young people with severe and complex learning difficulties in the hope of helping them grow into confident young people. Belvoir Hemel Hempstead want to do everything to help raise money so that the school can construct a hydrotherapy pool for the further improvement of their facilities.

Don’t be a Scaredy Cat and make sure you wear your scariest Halloween costume as Radio Dacorum will be hosting a fancy dress competition on the main stage from 4pm. We are sure there will be some unbelievable costumes able to frighten even the most fearless of people!

You’ll be glad to know that the fun doesn’t stop there! Make sure you wrap up warm because at 7:30 Dacorum Borough Council will be putting on a stupendous free firework show in Gadebridge Park that will be sure to stun and amaze every single person.

Belvoir Hemel Hempstead want to thank Dacorum Borough Council for organising this amazing event and are extremely excited for the terror-ific day to begin! So come on down, if you dare! Vampires and ghosts will be there to scare!
