For a typical 2 Bedroom House at the moment current yields are looking as follows:

Colchester Town
2 Bedroom terrace house with parking will generate a yield of around 5.2%

Lexden
2 Bedroom terrace house with parking will generate a yield of around 5.5%

Myland
2 Bedroom terrace house with parking will generate a yield of around 4.5%

Wivenhoe
2 Bedroom terrace house with parking will generate a yield of around 4.8%

Brightlingsea
2 Bedroom terrace house with parking will generate a yield of around 5.5%

Alresford 
2 Bedroom terrace house with parking will generate a yield of around 4.3%

Clacton-On-Sea
2 Bedroom terrace house with parking will generate a yield of around 4.8%


Properties in Myland, Wivenhoe and Brightlingsea would give you a solid yield and make a good investment, a lot does ride on buying the right property of course.

It’s not all about no fees, free appraisals, free EPC’s as the reality nothing is for free and it doesn’t give you sustainable profit on your business investment.
