Ready to make an investment?

This week we're looking at the buy-to-let market – we know our market and our area and it’s a great place to make an investment in property. We think we’re really lucky to live and work here! There are many reasons why it’s such a desirable place to live – the proximity to London and the South East, easy access to transport links and the M25 – important for businesses and work opportunities, as well as leisure and entertainment. Being just half an hour from many mainline London stations, means that theatres, concerts and sightseeing can be enjoyed in a day or evening without having to plan lots of overnight stays. As well as that, we’ve got some fabulous schools and places for children to develop and play. The local countryside is right on our doorstep and if you want to feel like you’re really out in the country then it  doesn’t take very long at all to head towards the coast and South Downs. And that’s just for starters – there’s so much going on around here, it would take another blog just touch the highlights!

We know that the property world can be a bit daunting if you’re new to it – especially in the buy-to-let market, so we hold seminars to offer advice and an opportunity for people to find out more about it. Our Facebook page has details of the next evening – why not register and pop along – who knows what you might find out?!

In the meantime, if you’re contemplating becoming a landlord, here are a few key things to think about first:

1 Do your research very carefully on the area where you want to buy.

2 Hunt down the very best mortgage offers.

3 Think carefully about how hands on you want to be as a landlord.

4 Talk to experienced buy-to-let agents for advice – come in and have a chat with us to find out how we can help.

We'll provide the drinks and nibbles next week and you can ask all the questions that you might have! Please click on the link to register – we look forward to welcoming you! If you can’t make the evening but would like a chat, just call in and we’ll help you or give us a call on 020 3859 3444.
