This year we wanted to increase our total raised for Macmillan Cancer Support and also raise money for a local charity, we chose Melton Mencap. We decided to have a stand at the Melton Country Fair and use our experience from holding our own Family fun day last year. With the help of local businessman Clive Dixon we had Face painting, Hook a Duck, Wheel of fortune, lucky dip and we managed to raise a total of £ 546.88. It was a really sunny day and guest appearances from Peppa Pig and Bob the Builder really boosted the donations!
