Macmillan Coffee Morning 27th September 2013
One of our lovely landlords Mrs Jayne Sutherland held a Macmillan Coffee Morning on the 27th September at home and raised £180 for the charity. Jayne invited neighbours, friends and family round to help raise money and enjoy cakes and coffee all in the aid of Macmillan. As Belvoir work in partnership with Macmillan Belvoir Liverpool West Derby have matched the figure that Jayne has raised making a total of £360 to go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Jayne and her friends, neighbours and family had a great time raising money and Belvoir Liverpool West Derby are very proud to match the money raised.
Macmillan’s ambition is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer and to inspire millions of others to do the same. This can only be achieved with the help of fundraisers like Jayne.
Gemma Shaw, fundraising manager at Macmillan said, ‘“A huge and heartfelt thank you goes out to Belvoir for choosing Macmillan Cancer Support. The help Macmillan provides, from nurses to financial aid, is funded by generous donations from the public, so each and every penny raised through this partnership really will make a difference to those who are affected by cancer.
