How did the Evesham house market perform in 2015?

How did the Evesham house market perform in 2015?

Following on from my previous article, when I looked at house prices since 2005, I had a discussion with one of my landlords who was keen to know how house prices in Evesham had changed over the last year.  Looking at the recent land registry figures we found that average house prices in the UK have seen an annual increase of 6.4%. Looking further we found that for Worcestershire the figure is 4.2% with an average price of £177,788. Further research showed that there were around 101 property transactions in Evesham in the last quarter of 2015 selling at an average price of £212,892. Comparing this with the same period of 2014, we found there had been around 159 sales with an average sale price of £199,018, showing an increase of 6.97%. Drilling down deeper still we found that on average 3 bedroom semi-detached houses in Evesham performed even better at 8.9%.

But bear in mind these are only averages and we don’t sell property, but if you would like to discuss your potential investment, please call in to our office at 47 High St, or email melanie.carter@belvoirlettings.com.
