As the all new price Index indicates that house prices are up 0.6% in November, Belvoir Sheffield which has recently began offering a property sales service is advising that now is the time to buy.
The Nationwide Building Society price index found that prices increased 0.6% in November and were 6.5% higher than in November 2012, taking the average house price to £174, 556.
Rick Flay director at Belvoir Sheffield, said: “These new figures are a fantastic sign of the sales market, and prices are now only 5 per-cent lower than they were at the peak of the market back in 2007.
“We already have over 20 properties listed so we have sold approx 50% of our stock in less than two months, which is a great achievement and we are receiving lots of enquiries from potential buyers.”

Robert Gardener, Nationwide’s economist said earlier this week: “A large part of the improvement can be attributed to further improvements in the labour market and the brighter economic outlook. Policy measures aimed at keeping down the cost and improving the availability of credit are also playing an important role.
“Indeed, mortgage rates have declined significantly from the already low levels prevailing last year.”
